    Cattle futures ended the day session higher and were up $4.38 for the week. Cash trade in KS is at $1.23 on 10,000 head so far. Some trade in NE came in at $195 in the dressed and $123.50 in the live. Cash trade so far is up $1 to $3 in the dressed and $1.5 to $2.5 in the live. The Cattle on Feed report this afternoon was bullish. Based on wire service surveys the May 1 On Feed was expected to be 100.3% on average with the actual at 99.42%. April Placements were expected to be 88.4% and came in at 85.2%. Trade estimates for April Marketings was 98.6% on average with the USDA reporting 100.44%. Wholesale beef prices were higher today. Choice boxes were $1.41 higher and Select was up $0.73.
